Dear Dick:
The workload on our horses has increased two fold without soreness or injury.
We use the massage machine each day following, and sometimes prior to each
work. Fantastic results. Our veterinarian/chiropractor checks the horses every two
weeks and has made only but the smallest of adjustments with "very few if any
muscle groups flagging positive for soreness."
On each horse's day off, we stand them under the large overhead heater and
use the massage machine for three minutes on each side. After having their
muscles relaxed, we turn them out in the indoor to roll and play. Since
incorporating the massage machine into our daily work schedule, we have observed
an enormous increase in saddle acceptance, pre work relaxation, and reduced
irritation when girthing the horses. Although we have not reduced the number of
minutes we warm up each horse, we have had the time frame before each horse
begins to properly use their back cut in half.
